Find your way around the Park
iSimangaliso runs for 220 kilometres along the KwaZulu-Natal coast and is entered through separate gates, each serving a different section. There is no single road from one end to the other, so the map you need depends on where you are going: the Eastern and Western Shores above St Lucia, uMkhuze in the west, or the northern lakes and beaches at Sodwana and Kosi Bay.
Download the sheet for your destination before you travel and keep a printed copy in the vehicle. Each destination page carries its own gate times and access notes, including the routes that need a high-clearance or 4x4 vehicle.
