Mphophomeni Trail
It is about 2 km and features short walk through the sand forest and woodland. Walking here reveals the full beauty of False Bay’s wildlife, both great and small allowing you to experience unique plant life, including towering fever trees and wild figs. Listen to forest bird calls and spot rare butterflies and enjoy the tranquil lake edge views with spectacular sunsets over Lake St Lucia.
Great for spotting birds like the Livingstone’s turaco, towering fever trees and colourful butterflies. Perfect for families or visitors looking for a quick, easy stroll with sunset lake views.

Ingwe Trail – 7 km (moderate)
Walking distance of about 7 km (moderate). Ingwe trails takes you deeper into the sand forests and woodland where Nyala, Duiker, and bushbuck are often seen. Perfect for birders in search of shaded paths and forest giants.
Dukandlovu Trail – 9 km (moderate to long)
This hiking trail is about 9 km (moderate to long). It is a longer loop combining forest and lake shore habitats.. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds along Lake St Lucia. Great choice for hikers wanting a half-day wilderness adventure
